Frank brings a unique warmth and dedication to the world of sustainable housing. For him, sustainability isn’t just a trend; it’s a lifestyle and a passion. Growing up in Dublin in a poorly insulated, cold, single-glazed-windowed home, he felt firsthand the impact of inefficient living spaces. That experience planted a seed in him: to create homes that embrace people with warmth, comfort, and efficiency—a vision that led to the creation of ZEO Homes.
Raising three wonderful children with his wife, Štěpánka, Frank and his family genuinely care about the environment, making everyday choices to reduce their impact, and their goal is to continually improve these choices. This same mindful approach is woven into the foundation of ZEO Homes. For Frank, each house is more than just a building—it’s a sustainable sanctuary that cares for its residents as much as they care for the environment.
Frank spent two decades building homes and commercial spaces, gaining invaluable experience. As he advanced in his career, he realized he wanted to create something lasting—a company that aligned with his values and stood for something meaningful. The more Frank learned about the environmental impact of traditional building materials, the more he felt drawn to sustainable alternatives. Through in-depth research, he discovered the potential of wooden homes and found that, with thoughtful design and the latest technology, these homes could be energy-efficient, comfortable, and sustainable.
Now, Frank’s favorite part of building a ZEO Home is the design and technology. He is constantly refining these aspects to make them more efficient to build, reduce energy costs, and maximize energy production, ultimately lowering costs for every member of the ZEO family.
Honesty and trust form the core of ZEO Homes. Frank wants every client to not only love their home but to know, without a doubt, that he’s been completely transparent with them throughout the entire process. “We don’t make grand claims for an inferior product. We can look any client in the eye, hand on heart, and say, ‘You have the best-in-class house.’ That’s what matters to us.”
Trust is more than a goal; it’s ingrained in the company’s DNA. ZEO Homes wants every future buyer to know they can place their full trust in them. “We will not let them down; we will build that amazing home they dream of for their family,” Frank asserts.
Then there’s passion. When he speaks with potential buyers, Frank hopes they feel the genuine excitement he has for the product. Whether it’s the house itself, the passive design principles, or the refreshing cool breeze on a hot day, ZEO’s team is deeply committed to what they do because they believe in the product.
Care is another core value that guides ZEO Homes. “We truly care about our clients; they’re not just buyers but future members of the ZEO family,” Frank explains. This “ZEO family” concept has been a vision of his for a long time. Every individual who chooses to build a life in a ZEO home becomes part of that family, and the team genuinely cares about each one of them.
Finally, fun and team spirit round out the ZEO experience. Frank believes that work should be fulfilling but also enjoyable. His vision is for every team member to embrace the mission while finding joy in the journey. “Work hard, have fun, and let’s build something amazing together,” Frank says. “Don’t be afraid to think outside the box, be brave, lead—the future belongs to all of you, not me.” It’s this spirit that makes ZEO Homes more than just a company; it’s a community of passionate, caring, and driven people working together.
Frank’s ambitions for ZEO Homes stretch far beyond today. He envisions a future where ZEO Homes becomes the standard for eco-friendly, efficient living in the Czech Republic and beyond. In his words, “I want ZEO to be a brand people recognize and respect. I want people to ask, ‘Is your home a ZEO home?’”
At ZEO Homes, Frank and his team are driven by a shared dream: to build homes that are not only good for the environment but also elevate the lives of the people who live in them. For Frank, ZEO Homes isn’t just a business—it’s a way of life, a commitment to the planet, and a legacy for future generations.
